SEAC Needs Your Help

SEAC is conducting a housing survey to gain information that can be utilized to obtain grant subsidies for housing repairs.  The survey can be filled out by anyone who is a resident of the City of Rochester.  You do not have to be a SEAC grant recipient to fill out the survey.  This short questionnaire will help establish the necessity for housing repairs in the southeast section of the city, and help facilitate the statement of need for SEAC grant applications.  Please take a moment to fill out the SEAC Housing Survey and return it to the SEAC office (580 South Avenue, 14620) by February 23rd, 2009.

Thank You.

Housing Grant Administrator

Fire @ 1045 S. Clinton Avenue

The SEAC office sustained heavy smoke and water damage early in the morning of Wednesday, January 28.  A fire started in the building next door and the flames jumped to the second floor and attic of our building.  The Rochester Fire Department and the Fire Protectives did an outstanding job protecting our property.  Many volunteers also came and helped to move our belongings out of harm’s way.  We thank all of them.

Our building is uninhabitable.  We have received many generous offers to house us.  We will keep you updated by postings on this site.

Our phones are currently not working.  You’ll be able to leave phone messages beginning on Wednesday, February 4th by calling 585-244-7405.

Until then, Staff members can be contacted by email.
